I previously purchased the 2 unit wall sconce and was very pleased with that purchase. When I saw that it also came in a single unit wall sconce, I bought it because the lamp in the picture was more rounder (instead of a slender shape like the 2-unit sconces) which is what I wanted. I was a little disappointed when I opened the box to find the slender one, and now debating whether I should return it. There's nothing wrong with the item; I was just expecting a round shade. I would still recommend the item. It works well and is battery-operated.We have a narrow, rectangular shaped bathroom, with all the lighting in the front of the room above the sink. So we put these up at the other end of the room. It's turned out very well. We don't need to use them on sunny days, but they make such a difference on overcast days and in the evenings. And we don't have to use one of the few valuable outlets in the room.I love that it’s battery operated and easy to put up ! It’s the perfect size and I believe I will be buying more for other places in my home! Quality is great and brightness is too!I bought these to fill in a space where a picture used to hang. They have two settings bright light and muted light. They highlight a table with decorations on it and give some light to a dark corner of my dining room. Since they are battery operated I didn't have to have someone wire them and then install a switch. They were easy to put up with a template included, just make sure you leave the screws out enough so the light will hang and not fall off when you turn them on - voice of experience. The one that fell didn't break so that was a relief.The good: they’re easy to install.The bad: they are made with cheap plastic and the batteries don’t last very long before the lights start to dimI got these because my house is old and there’s not many outlets. I ended up taking these down and buying ones that plug in. The batteries don’t last for more than 10 hours before they start to dim.I purchased these for a school work area in a darker basement room. I didn't want to mess with wiring, so I thought these would be a great alternative. The are incredibly easy to install, so that was good. They did offer more light to the area, but they aren't incredibly bright, though I was expecting this with a battery powered light. What disappointed me was the extremely short battery life! It is possible that one was left on over night, but the battery was dead on day 2. It was not my intention to use for extended periods, but even if it was left on, it would have been on for less than 16 hours- so if we use for 2 hrs a day, that would last 8 days before we need to change the batteries.... I will likely get rechargeable batteries to use for them, but we just haven't been using them as much since this realization.Pretty, easy to install, battery operated. Only drawback is the lighting is more like a night light and not very bright.They are bright for about 2 days then go dim. The batteries get drained so fast. But its good when the batteries are full.The Battery Operated Wall Lights I find these very delightful, decorative and add a flare to any room and these certainly go well with our décor in the living room which is why we chose them. There is only one thing which really ANNOYS me and that is the payment for the P&P and then of course there is also Customs charge. This you have to pay at the Royal Mail Parcel Office and of course this also includes a fee which goes to Royal Mail then you can either collect in person or re-arranged to have your parcel delivered. When you think that the P&P cost more than the Wall Lights it really grieves me. I have since found the same product on another site and the price you see is the price you pay and the Wall Lights were cheaper. These also came from the USA. Once bitten twice shy. In the guidelines for a review it states do not put about your delivery experience this is because in your feedback you do not have enough space.Bought 2 to attach to a wall above a double bed. A well made product which looks very nice. Easy to install using the clear instructions provided. The light provides sufficient light for reading and can be dimmed. Definitely recommended for lighting areas where there is no mains supply.Look like wired in lights without the hassle of an electrician- very pretty and add to your decor what ever room they are used in. We bought as we tend to get power cuts and it helps to have these in the home as more decorative than other items that you can buy that performs the same function. Buy in pairs as they look great on the wall.beautiful set of lamps, money well spent i am very happy with these. Delivery was fast received wayyyy before delivery date which was a bonus. I would definetly buy these again and recommend to friends. Not sure on the battery life as i have not use long enough to judge that yet but i will update once installed and used properly.Looks good in bathroom very pleased
